It is a scheme launched by NHA (National Health Authority) in December 2022 to incentivize healthcare facilities to adopt ABDM (Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission), which aims to create a Digital Health ecosystem across India. However, this shall include International Teleconsultation if the consulting doctor or one of the consulting doctors is in India irrespective of location of others on the group-consultation.
The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) aims to develop the backbone necessary to support the integrated digital health infrastructure of the country. It will bridge the existing gap amongst different stakeholders of the healthcare ecosystem through digital highways. Through ABDM, patients will now be able to securely store and access their medical records (such as prescriptions, diagnostic reports, and discharge summaries) and digitally share them with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate treatment and follow up.
Digital Health Incentive Scheme (DHIS) is an incentive scheme under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM). The scheme was launched in December 2022 and will be operational from January 1st, 2023. This scheme shall provide incentives to the health facilities (Hospitals, Laboratory, Digital Solution Companies) and make available the benefits of digital health for all the citizens of India.
