How can a prescription (Rx) from a completed consultation be edited ?

Even after a consultation is marked as completed, healthcare providers can edit the prescription (Rx) on the same day before 11:59 PM, allowing updates, corrections, or additional instructions to ensure accurate patient records and safe treatment plans.


Description



The system allows healthcare providers to edit a prescription (Rx) for a completed consultation on the same day before 11:59 PM. Providers can update medications, doses, frequency, quantity, or add additional instructions. This ensures the patient record remains accurate, treatment plans are safe, and any necessary corrections are documented in a timely manner.



Step 1 : Navigate to the Completed Consultations section.


Step 2 : Select the patient whose prescription you want to edit.


Step 3: Click on “Edit” to modify the prescription.


Step 4: The Visit Pad will open, where you can modify the prescription based on the required changes



Notes:


  • Prescriptions can only be edited on the same day of the completed consultation (before 11:59 PM).


  • Ensure all medication details, dosage, and instructions are reviewed before saving the changes.


  • After modification, save the prescription to update the patient’s record.


  • The changes will be reflected in the patient’s updated prescription history.
