Editing a Bill to Correct Errors


Overview


If there is an error in the bill after it is created, doctors or staff can edit the bill, allowing corrections such as updating the amount or modifying services.


Steps to Edit a Bill


Step 1: From the Queue, click on the bill amount shown next to the patient to open the Bill Receipt.




Step 2: In the Bill Preview, go to Actions and click Edit.




Step 3: Make the required changes


  • Update the amount
  • Add services
  • Delete services


Step 4: Click Edit Receipt - to update the bill.




Note:


Editing the bill is possible only if the admin has not restricted bill editing permissions.
