The system enables healthcare providers to specify the starting dose, reduction steps, and duration for each step, ensuring accurate and safe patient instructions.

**Tapering doses allow a medication to be prescribed with gradually decreasing amounts over a set period. This helps manage medications that require careful reduction to avoid side effects or **
withdrawal. The system lets healthcare providers define the starting dose, reduction steps, and duration for each step, ensuring accurate, safe, and easy-to-follow instructions for patients.


Step 1 : Go to the visit pad patient


Step 2 : Go to the Medication section, select any medicine, and click on “Tapering” to set a gradual dose reduction schedule.


Click on Tapering Doses: Once enabled, you can enter the medicine’s required details:


  • Frequency – How often the medicine should be taken.
  • Dose – The amount for each intake.
  • Quantity (Qty) – Total number of tablets/capsules or units required.


Notes:


  • Ensure the tapering schedule matches the prescribed reduction plan.
  • You can also add additional instructions in the Notes field for clarity.
  • Review all entries before saving to avoid errors in patient medication instructions.
