How can we complete KYC for an ABHA patient whose KYC is not done?

Completing KYC (Know Your Customer) for an ABHA patient is essential to verify the patient’s identity and enable full access to ABHA-linked services. If the KYC is not completed, certain features like data sharing, record linking, and authentication may be restricted. This process ensures secure and accurate patient identification.


Description


If a patient’s ABHA KYC is incomplete, users can update it by accessing the patient profile and navigating to the ABHA or KYC section. The system typically provides options to complete KYC using Aadhaar-based authentication methods such as OTP, biometric, or face authentication.


To proceed, select the KYC option and enter the required Aadhaar details. After providing consent, complete the authentication using the preferred method. Once the verification is successful, the patient’s KYC status is updated, and they gain full access to ABHA-enabled features.


Navigation


Step 1: Go to the Patient Directory and select the patient.


Step 2 : Click on Complete KYC to proceed with the KYC process.


Notes


  • Ensure the patient’s Aadhaar details are correct before proceeding
  • Choose the appropriate authentication method (OTP / Face Auth / Biometric)
  • Ensure internet connectivity for successful verification
  • Verify patient consent before completing KYC
  • Check that KYC status is updated after successful authentication
  • Re-attempt the process if authentication fails
