How Canvas is Used

Overview

The Canvas is a digital workspace inside the Visit Pad that allows doctors to visually capture and explain clinical information during a patient consultation. It provides tools to draw, mark, annotate, or illustrate medical conditions directly on diagrams or images.

This helps doctors communicate better with patients, document clinical observations, and maintain clear visual records in the patient’s medical history.

Description

The Canvas feature allows doctors to interact with visual elements during the consultation. Instead of only typing notes, doctors can draw, highlight, or mark specific areas on medical diagrams to explain conditions, injuries, or procedures.

Doctors can use Canvas to:

• Draw or mark affected areas on diagrams
• Explain treatment plans visually to patients
• Highlight symptoms or injuries
• Record visual clinical notes
• Save the annotated diagram in the patient’s record

All annotations made on the canvas are saved as part of the patient’s medical history, making it easier to review the condition during future visits.
