Overview

EkaScribe allows you to automatically detect the language spoken during patient consultations. Enabling the Auto-Detect Language feature helps ensure accurate transcription without needing to manually switch between languages, especially in multilingual interactions.

Steps to Enable Auto-Detect Language

Step 1: From the Eka EMR Dashboard, click on the EkaScribe icon.

Step 2: You will be redirected to the ekascribe.ai page.

Navigate to the bottom-left corner and click on your profile name.
Select User Defaults from the menu.

Step 3: Under the Speech Recognition section, locate Default Input Language(s).

Choose Auto Detect Language.

Step 4: Click Save to apply the changes.

Additional Notes

Auto-detect works best when audio clarity is good and background noise is minimal.
You can override the language setting for specific sessions if required.
If the system does not accurately detect the language, try selecting a fixed language manually for better results.
