The Video Platform enables doctors to conduct teleconsultations with patients through secure video calls, allowing remote medical consultations and follow-ups without requiring a physical clinic visit.

Description

The Video Platform is used to conduct online teleconsultations between doctors and patients. It allows doctors to connect with patients through a secure video call, enabling real-time interaction without the need for a physical visit to the clinic.

Through the video platform, doctors can discuss the patient’s symptoms, review medical history, provide medical advice, and guide the patient during the consultation. At the same time, the doctor can access the Visit Pad to record notes, add diagnoses, and prescribe medications.

This platform ensures convenient, accessible, and efficient healthcare delivery, especially for follow-up consultations, remote patients, or situations where visiting the clinic is not possible.

Video Call Platform Selection

In this screen, the user can choose the video platform for conducting teleconsultation with the patient.

After going to the Queue section and selecting the Platform option, a Video Call Platform window will appear. In this window, the user can select the preferred platform for the video consultation.
Available Options:

• Eka’s Video Platform – The default and integrated video consultation platform within the system.
• 100ms – An alternative video calling platform that can be used for teleconsultations.
• Other – Allows the user to use a different external video platform if required.

The user needs to select the appropriate platform based on the clinic’s preference. After selecting the required option, click on the Submit button to confirm the platform for the video consultation.
This feature ensures that doctors can conduct smooth and secure online consultations with patients using the selected video platform.

Notes:

The Video Call Platform option allows users to select the preferred platform for conducting teleconsultations. By choosing the appropriate option and clicking Submit, the system will use the selected platform to connect the doctor and patient through a video call, ensuring a smooth and efficient online consultation experience.
