Overview

The slot selection feature in the Queue allows users to choose and book appointment slots with better control and consistency. Slots are aligned with system logic and the doctor’s configured schedule to ensure accurate booking.

Steps to Configure Slots

Step 1: Click on Slot option on the Queue section.

Step 2: Select the Slot Type as required.

Flexible Time Slots

Shows slots from 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM
Works similar to the existing booking flow

Fixed Slots (Schedule-Based)

Displays slots based on the doctor’s configured calendar
Service-wise slot visibility
Ensures alignment with actual availability

Step 4: Select a suitable slot as preferred by patient.

Step 5: Click on Book Appointment.

Important Notes

Users will see slot options while booking appointments.
Slots are displayed between 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM or based on the doctor’s configured calendar availability (service-wise).
Slot data is aligned with the doctor’s schedule to ensure accurate booking.
Slot inconsistency across different durations has been fixed.
All slots follow a standardized next x:05 round-off logic for uniform timing.
Ensure the correct slot is selected before confirming the appointment.
