How to copy the previous prescription to the current prescription pad?

Overview:


This feature allows doctors to quickly copy the details from a patient’s previous prescription into the current prescription pad. It helps reduce manual entry, saves consultation time, and ensures continuity in patient treatment.


Description:


Doctors can use the Copy Previous Prescription option available within the prescription pad to import the previous prescription details into the current consultation. Once the option is selected, the previous prescription details such as medications, advice, investigations, and notes will be displayed in the current prescription pad. The doctor can review the copied details, make the required modifications if needed, and proceed with the consultation before saving or ending the prescription.


Navigation


Step 1: Click on Rx Write to open the Visit Pad for the patient.


Step 2 : Click on overview


  • Click on the Overview section in the Visit Pad.
  • All previous visits and prescriptions of the patient will be displayed.
  • Select the required previous prescription and click on the Copy option.
  • The selected prescription will be copied to the current prescription pad and can be modified if required.



End Notes:


  • Ensure the correct previous prescription is selected before copying.
  • Copied prescription details can be edited or removed if required.
  • The copied prescription will be added to the current visit pad for further consultation.
