How to create an invoice for booked appointments?

This process explains how to generate an invoice for a patient who has already booked an appointment. The invoice can be created either before or after the consultation, based on the clinic’s workflow.

To create an invoice for a booked appointment, first navigate to the Appointments section of the system and locate the patient using the search or filter options based on date, name, or appointment status. Once the relevant booked appointment is identified, open the appointment details to access the patient’s profile and visit information. From there, select the Create Invoice or Billing option, which will redirect you to the billing interface.


Step 1: Click on the Queue option and navigate to the Booked section to view all scheduled appointments.


Step 2: Click on the three-dot (⋮) menu next to the appointment and select the Bill option.


Step 3: Add the required services and click on Create Receipt to generate the invoice.



  • Staff can add services and apply service-level or overall discounts (₹ or %).
  • Multiple payment modes (cash, card, UPI) can be selected, including split payments.
  • After verifying all details, click Create Receipt (bottom right) to generate the invoice.
  • Ensure accuracy before creation, as edits may be limited later.


Step 4: The invoice is successfully created and can be viewed, printed, or shared with the patient.
