How to Create Complete Prescription Templates?

Overview


The Template feature in My Genie helps doctors quickly create standardized prescriptions for common cases by including symptoms, diagnosis, medications, lab investigations, and advice. These templates save time, ensure consistency, and can be edited, deleted, or shared with other doctors on the platform.


Steps to Create a Template


Step 1: Navigate to My Genie


  • Go to Profile (top right corner)
  • Select My Genie from dropdown





Step 2: Open Template Section


  • Navigate to Templates
  • Click + Create Template




Step 3: Create Template


  • Add the required details -


👉 Example: Viral Fever template with common symptoms, diagnosis (viral illness), basic medications, and general advice.




Step 4: Save Template


  • Click Create Template



Step 5: Name the Template


  • Save the Template name.





Step 5: Manage Template


  • You can Edit, Delete, or Export/Share with other doctors




How to Use the Template During Consultation


While writing a prescription for a patient -

  • Click on Template option at the top
  • Select and load the required template
  • Make necessary patient-specific changes
