How to disable the Analytics Dashboard for a user?

Overview:


**Disabling the Analytics Dashboard restricts users from accessing reports and insights. This helps protect sensitive business data and ensures only authorized roles can view analytics. **


Description:


To disable access, go to Settings and navigate to Utilities. Click on ACL Configuration.
Select the required role and locate the Analytics Dashboard (or Reports/Analytics section) in the permissions list. Disable or uncheck the access option. Click on Save to apply the changes.
**Next, go to User Management → Users, select the specific staff member, and click on Edit. Assign the updated role and click Save. The user will no longer have access to the Analytics Dashboard. **


Navigation


Step 1 : Click on My Account


Step 2: Click on Utilities and select ACL Configuration.


Step 3 : Create an ACL role and deny permission for Analytics access.


  • Click on Create New and select the required role.
  • Go to the Analytics section.
  • Set Access to Complete Analytics Dashboard to Deny.
  • Click on Save to apply the changes.


Step 4 : Go to User Management and click on Users.


Step 5 : Step 4: Select the user and click on the Edit icon.


  • Ensure the correct role is selected before saving.
  • Changes will apply immediately to the selected staff member.
  • Verify permissions after updating the role.
  • Inform the staff about any access changes to avoid confusion.

Notes:


  • Make sure you select the correct role before clicking Save.
  • The updated permissions will be applied immediately to the user.
