How to Enter alternate communication number to share Prescription?

Overview

This feature allows you to send a patient’s prescription to an alternate phone number via SMS or WhatsApp. It is useful when the patient prefers to receive prescriptions on a different number (e.g., caregiver or family member).

Step 1: On the Eka Care dashboard, click on Write Rx to start the prescription

Step 2: Complete the prescription and click Finish Prescription (bottom right)

Step 3: On the left side, click the ✏️ (edit icon) next to the phone number

Enter the **alternate number and Share **the prescription via SMS or WhatsApp

Important Notes

Ensure the alternate number is entered correctly before sending
The updated number is used only for that instance of sharing
Message delivery depends on SMS/WhatsApp configuration and network availability
