Pharmacy integration with Eka Care comes under Pharmacy & Labs integrations. It helps you connect your pharmacy system with the EMR, enabling seamless management of prescriptions, billing, and inventory in one place.

🧾 Description

Once the integration is successfully completed by the Evital team, the pharmacy system gets fully connected with Eka Care.
During the consultation, the doctor will be able to see real-time stock availability directly in the Visit Pad while prescribing medicines. This means:

• The system displays live inventory data from the pharmacy
• Doctors can easily identify which medicines are available or unavailable
• Only in-stock medicines can be prescribed, reducing dependency on manual confirmation

This real-time visibility helps in:

• Avoiding out-of-stock prescriptions
• Reducing delays in dispensing medicines
• Improving accuracy and efficiency during consultations
• Ensuring a smoother prescription-to-dispensing workflow

📝 Notes

• While prescribing, stock availability is shown with color indicators:
• • 🔴 Red: Out of stock
  • 🟠 Orange: Low stock
  • 🟢 Green: Available stock
• The MRP (price) of the medicine is also visible beside the stock
• This helps the doctor to make quick and accurate prescribing decisions without checking separately
