How to register patients to ABHA through biometric authentication?

**The biometric registration feature helps patients create or link their ABHA account using biometric authentication for quick and secure verification. **


Description


**Patients can be registered to ABHA through biometric authentication by using supported biometric devices during the registration process. The user needs to initiate the ABHA registration workflow, enter the required patient details, and complete biometric verification using the connected device. Once the authentication is successful, the patient’s ABHA account will be created or linked successfully within the system. **

Step 1 : Go to Queue and add the patient.


Step 2 : Add the patient details and complete the authentication using biometric verification.


  • Enter the patient name and click on Add via ABHA
  • Enter the patient’s Aadhaar number and choose the Biometric authentication option
  • Click on Next to complete the fingerprint authentication process
  • Once the biometric authentication is successful, the existing ABHA ID will be displayed
  • If the patient does not have an existing ABHA ID, a new ABHA account can be created

Biometric authentication helps securely verify patient details and simplifies the ABHA registration or linking process. Existing ABHA IDs will be displayed after successful authentication, and new ABHA accounts can also be created if required.
