How to Send a Manual Reminder SMS for a Booked Appointment?

Overview


The Manual Reminder SMS feature allows clinic staff or doctors to send reminder messages to patients who already have a scheduled appointment. This helps ensure that patients are informed about their upcoming visit, reduces missed appointments, and improves clinic scheduling efficiency.


By sending a reminder SMS, clinics can maintain better communication with patients and ensure timely attendance for consultations.


Step 1 : Go to the booked appointment.


Step 2: Click on the 🔔 Bell icon



A pop-up will appear showing the SMS reminder message, which includes:


• Patient name
• Doctor name
• Appointment date and time
• Confirmation options for the patient



Step 3 : Send the reminder


• Click Send Reminder at the bottom of the window.
• The system will send the SMS to the patient’s registered mobile number.



**Note **: 


✅ Patient receives an appointment reminder SMS


✅ Patient can confirm or decline the visit


✅ Helps reduce missed appointments and improve clinic scheduling
