Can I Translate Advice and Medication Instructions for Patients into Their Local Language?

Translating Prescription Instructions for Patients

Overview

Eka Care allows doctors to translate medication instructions and patient advice into regional languages. This helps patients better understand how to take their medicines and follow the recommended advice, especially when they are more comfortable reading in their local language. By enabling the language setting, the medication instructions and advisor notes are automatically translated, making prescriptions more patient-friendly.

Steps to Translate Medication Instructions and Advice

Step 1: From the Eka Care Dashboard, open the patient consultation and click "Rx Write".

Step 2: Write the prescription and add medications and advisor notes as required.

Step 3: At the bottom of the screen, click on Select Language.

Step 4: Select the patient’s regional language from the available options.

  • Click Apply Changes to save the language preference.

Step 5: Preview the prescription and enable PDF view.

Step 6: You will now see the translated medication instructions and advisor content in the selected language under PDF view.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Once the language setting is applied, the selected language will be used for the current prescription.
  • If required for the next patient, you can change the language again from the Language Settings option.
  • This helps ensure that each patient receives instructions in the language they understand best.
