How set the medicine type on the prescription pad?

Overview


The Medicine Type configuration in the Prescription Pad allows doctors to select and enable the types of medicines they prescribe during consultations. This helps customize the prescription workflow based on the doctor’s practice type, such as Allopathy, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Unani, or Siddha.


Description


To configure the medicine types on the Prescription Pad, first navigate to the Settings or Prescription Pad Configuration section within the application. Inside the configuration page, open the Medication Types tab available at the top of the screen. This section allows doctors to customize the prescription workflow based on the type of medicines prescribed in their practice.
**Under the “Select Medicine Types You Prescribe” section, different medicine systems such as Allopathy, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Unani, and Siddha will be displayed. The doctor can enable the **
required medicine type by clicking on the selection icon or checkbox available beside each option. Once selected, the medicine type will appear highlighted or marked with a check symbol, indicating that it has been successfully enabled.


Navigation


Step 1 : Go to the visit pad of patient.


Step 2: Click on the Settings icon available on the right-hand side of the Medication field.


Step 3: Click on the Medicine Type option to choose and enable the required medicine type for the prescription workflow.


End Notes


  • Ensure the required medicine types are selected before saving the configuration.
  • Multiple medicine types can be enabled based on the doctor’s consultation requirements.
  • Changes will reflect in the Prescription Pad only after clicking on the Save button successfully.
  • If the selected medicine type is not visible during prescription creation, refresh the page or reopen the consultation workflow.
