How to Create Prescriptions Using Eka Scribe (VoiceRx) on iOS

This article explains how to use Eka Scribe (VoiceRx) on iOS to create prescriptions seamlessly during patient consultations. Eka Scribe is an AI-powered feature that captures the conversation between the doctor and the patient in real-time and converts it into structured clinical notes. These notes are automatically mapped to relevant sections on the Rx Pad, making prescription writing faster, easier, and more efficient.


What is Eka Scribe (VoiceRx)?


Eka Scribe (VoiceRx) allows doctors to:

  • Record live consultation conversations
  • Automatically convert speech into structured medical notes
  • Map information directly into sections like symptoms, diagnosis, and advice on the Rx Pad

This reduces manual effort and helps maintain accurate documentation.


Step 1: Open Eka Doc App and Click on EkaScribe for Ekascribe set up.



Step 2: Set your preferences accordingly.



Step 3: Go to the Queue section.
  • Click on Write RX to start the prescription.


Step 4: Once the RX pad opens, click on the Ekascribe icon at the top right corner.
  • Start your consultation recording or dictation.


Step 5: After completing the consultation, click on the red button.
  • Select “Yes, I am done.”


Step 6: The system will show “Analysing Conversation.”
  • Please wait for a few seconds while Ekascribe processes the recording.


Step 7: Once analysis is complete, the content will automatically be mapped into the relevant prescription sections.



Step 8: To preview how the prescription looks, click on the three dots (bottom left).
  • Select Review RX.


Step 9: Review and If changes are required, go back and repeat the recording/dictation process.
  • Else click on Finish RX & End the visit.
