Setting Up Eka Scribe (Voice to Rx)

Overview:

This article explains how to set up Eka Scribe (Voice to Rx) for seamless prescription creation using voice. Eka Scribe is a Chrome extension that enables doctors to convert live consultation conversations into structured clinical notes, which are automatically mapped to the Rx Pad. This helps reduce manual effort and speeds up the prescription process while ensuring accurate documentation.

Step 1: : Open Eka Care tool → Click on the bottom left corner option → “Generate Prescription from Voice”

This will redirect you to the Chrome extension page.

Step 2: Click “Add to Chrome” → “Add Extension.”

Step 3: Click the extension - 🧩- icon on the Top-Right

Ensure Eka Scribe is listed → Pin it for quick access.

Step 4: Log in to Eka Workspace → Start a consultation → Click on Eka Scribe from toolbar

Important Notes :

Microphone access must be enabled for accurate voice capture.
Pin the extension for quick and easy access during consultations.
Works best in a quiet environment for better transcription accuracy.
Always review and edit the generated notes before finalizing the prescription.
