How to Cancel or Mark No-Show Appointments?

Overview

**The Cancel / Mark No-Show Appointment option allows the clinic to manage appointment records when a patient cancels their visit or does not arrive for the scheduled consultation. This helps maintain accurate appointment tracking, improves scheduling efficiency, and ensures proper documentation of patient visit status. **

Description

To cancel or mark a No-Show appointment, navigate to the Appointments or Queue section and select the respective patient’s appointment. From the available options, choose Cancel if the patient has informed the clinic about the cancellation, or select Mark as No-Show if the patient did not attend the appointment without prior notice. Once updated, the system will record the status accordingly, helping the clinic maintain clear and organized appointment records.

Step 1: Go to the Booked section on the Eka Care dashboard. Click the three dots () against the appointment.

Click the three dots (⋯) next to the appointment to open the additional options menu, where you can access actions such as Cancel Appointment or Mark as No-Show.

Step 2: Select "Marked Cancelled" if the patient cancels or "Mark No Show" if the patient doesn’t turn up.

Step 3: The cancelled appointment will move to the Others section.
