How to delete/archive a patient?

Overview:


The delete/archive patient feature allows users to remove or archive patient records from the active patient list when they are no longer required for regular access.


Description:


 Users can delete or archive a patient record through the patient management section. Archiving a patient hides the record from the active list while retaining the data for future reference, whereas deleting permanently removes the patient record based on the access permissions and system configuration.


Navigation


Step 1: On the top right-hand side, search for the patient name from the Patient Search.


Step 2: After searching for the patient, click on More Options.



  • After searching for the patient name, click on the patient profile.
  • Click on More Options.
  • Select the Archive Patient option.



End Notes:


  • Ensure the correct patient profile is selected before archiving.
  • Archived patients cannot be accessed later if required.
