How to Print an Appointment Slip for Patients?


The Appointment Slip can be given to patients after booking or check-in. It includes important OPD visit details and helps in smooth clinic coordination.

Why Provide an Appointment Slip?


The slip helps patients with:

  • Visit date and time reference
  • Doctor and clinic details
  • Queue or check-in confirmation
  • Easy identification at billing or consultation
  • Record reference for follow-up visits


Step 1 — Go to the Queue section on the Eka dashboard.
  • Enter all required appointment details (Patient, Doctor, Slot, Service, etc.).
  • Book the appointment.



Step 2 — Print the Appointment Slip


You can print the slip in two scenarios:


Option 2 — After Booking a Future Appointment:

  1. On Queue, Locate the booked appointment.
  2. Click the More ⋯ icon.
  3. Select Print Appointment Slip.


Option 2 — After Patient Check-In

  1. Once the patient is checked in from the Queue section, Click the More ⋯ icon.



  1. Select Print Appointment Slip.



Step 3 — The Appointment slip will open in print format and can be printed immediately.




Quick Note

The appointment slip ensures patients carry proper visit confirmation and reduces confusion during OPD workflow.
